Hello! Does anyone know if a set doorbell or floodlight can event can trigger/link recording on all cameras?
I have 2 nest doorbells and 3 floodlight cams (all hardwired)… what I’m trying to do is when an ‘event’ triggers a recoding on any single google cam (on any single doorbell, floodlight, etc) > this will then force/trigger all of my google cams to turn on and record?
does anyone know if this is possible or how I can make this work? Any and all suggestions welcomed

If you can't figure out exactly how to do that with Automatons and Routines in the Google Home app, I know that the Samsung SmartThings app has finer, more automated controls. So you'll need a Samsung account, you "add" your Nest products, and then fool around with the routines and automations to see if there are triggers to start recordings on the other cams.

Hello everyone,
@Free2create thanks for reaching out here in the Community. I understand the interesting feature you're referring to about the event detection that would trigger your other Nest Cameras in your house to turn on and record. We appreciate your interest however, we don't have any news to share about applying this feature to the Nest Cameras and Nest Doorbells. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send feedback about your concern using this form to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this. Please let me know if you have other questions or concerns as I will be locking this after 24 hours. Feel free to start a new thread and we'll be happy to help.
I appreciate the help, Fitch.
Best,
Emerson
