Problem launching the camera

I have moved to a new house, but to set up my Nest Cam, I am stuck in the state of entering the last four digits of the serial number. There is no  place to enter four digital numbers

Which camera do you have and which app are you using to attempt the install? Newer cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021 get installed in the Google Home app; older cameras get installed in the Google Nest app.

I have an Indoor wired 2nd generation camera, and I tried with both the Google Home app and  Google Nest app, but the result was the same, and I got stuck at the step of entering 4-digit serial numbers.

That's odd. Do you have the latest version of the Google Home app? Is this the first time you've tried to install this camera, or was it previously installed at your old house? Are you scanning the QR code or skipping the scan and entering the 6-character Setup Code?

It was previously installed at my old house; I couldn't find the QR code and skipped that; I just entered the 6-character.

The QR code was on a sticker on the front of the camera.

If you are not using the same network name (SSID) and password on your new router/modem at your new house that you used on your old router/modem, then this is Google Nest's general process:

Remove the camera from the Google Home app while connected to your old Wi-Fi network, perform a factory reset, and then reinstall the camera. Skipping the first step can be problematic.

Unfortunately, I have no access to the old Wi-Fi network, and I removed the camera through my new Wi-Fi network and a new router.
