Enhancing Speaker Voice Recognition - Seeking Advice!

Hi,

My speaker often misunderstands my voice commands, causing frustration and inefficiency in using its features. I've tried retraining the voice model but it hasn't improved significantly. Turning to the forum community for suggestions on how to enhance the smart speaker's voice recognition accuracy and make interactions more seamless and enjoyable.

I don't think that you're the problem, my experiences with using the Assistant lately has been just as inconsistent as you have described.  Unless your command phrase enunciation has drastically changed, my suggestion is just wait and hope for the service to soon return to some semblance of normality.

Hey folks,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

I know how important that your Google Home/Nest device understands your commands. Let's get to the bottom of this. A few questions: when did the issue start? What specific Google Home or Nest device do you have? How far is your device from your network?

Let's try these steps below:

  1. Move your speaker within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  2. Reboot your speaker and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi
