Ewelink device works in Ewelink app but is offline in Google home

I have a light bulb switch that works with ewelink. In the ewelink app, the device is online and I'm able to switch it on and off. However, when connecting with Google home, the device is always offline.

All devices are connected to the 2.4Ghz SSID.

I have a Chromecast device in the same network and it works perfectly with Google home.

Please help.

I think I figured it out, the device is controlled via Bluetooth and is not in the Wifi network. That is why I am not able control it using Google's app. I guess I need to buy more HW for this?
