Family group with one member that travels abroad a lot

I am married to a flight attendant.  We split our time between Greece and the US, she is more often in the US so Google Home has her (correctly) listed as a US resident and all her apps need to be US based anyway for work (for a US company).

However Google Home does not let us add her to our family (we ARE married BTW!) because the rest of us have Greece as our base (and google knows it for apps etc)

is there somewhere I can send a marriage certificate or something to get my wife in our home family group for home automation (or even sharing google keep notes!!!)

There's two separate things that need to match. Your payment profiles in Google Pay need to have the same country listed (delete any other payment profiles that don't match), and the geolocation of your IP address must match the country listed in your Google Pay profiles. You can of course use a VPN if you're not in the correct country and the VPN is only needed on a one-time basis for linking the accounts.

If you don't do this, it won't work unfortunately.
