Finding/Eliminating "Ghost" Automations/Routines

HansWT

I have been using automations & schedules off & on for ~2 years with smart plugs, switches and bulbs, plus a Nest Thermostat. I've recently added more plugs and they have changed locations/names etc., as my house full of "dumb" devices became smart.

I have a couple "ghosts" in my system now... such as 2 smart switches that once activated with condition based on sunset times to turn on 30 minutes after sunset and off 2 hours after sunset (2 automations).

No matter where I look, in their app (schedules) or GHA app (automations) there are no longer any automations or schedules anywhere to be found and these lights still turn on, and often, but not always, never turn off after.

Any suggestions on how to locate these ghost automations, or should I try factory resetting the smart switches and hope they are not recognized by their MAC identifier in GHA once reconnected.

Thanks!.

Just resolved my similar issue on my post. Not sure if this is the same problem for you.

Thanks Aaron, I will do some looking here also, as I do have multiple accounts, where ghosts may be hiding.
