I use Geeni smart devices for my Smart home. For the last 2 days Go
ogle home has shown all my devices offline most of the time. Nothing has changed on my end. Now my google speakers just say they can't connect to Geeni 90% of the time. So l cannot control anything via my nest speakers or hub. Everything works fine if I use Geeni app on my phone. Nothing works using the Google app or speakers. Any help would be appreciated.

Oddly enough, you're not alone. I'm having the exact same problem you're having. For the last 2-3 days, exactly the same issue you're reporting. Geeni is continuously being unreachable by Google Home, even after numerous resets of devices, apps, etc.

This problem with the integration between Geeni and Google home has been around for years. It comes and goes, sometimes works well for months and other times it seams to have problems almost daily. I only put up with it for a short time before I started migrating my Geeni devices off of the Geeni app onto the Tuya Smart app.
If you want to go this route, be advised that, in my experience, the Geeni devices can't be setup using the automatic method. You'll have to put them into manual setup mode to connect them to the Tuya Smart app.

I too am having issues with my Merkury led bulbs run by Geeni. My google home voice calls it Geenie with a hard G like in Green 🙂 Cracks me up.
Anywho, I'm stumbling with this problem. Intermittent, random lamps will work and then a bounce on Geeni. I don't want to use Tuya if I can help it, but that suggestion is interesting.
If anyone has a quick fix that doesn't involve stripping everything down/rebuild/reconnoiter/re-re-re-do etc..
I think I have like 40 devices, and about 10 smart home speakers cameras and whatnot. I think if I were to do this again I would skip on Google platform, maybe go with a non-wifi based lighting system, that integrates with motion sensors to avoid talking to a robot to set colors on 5 lamps in a room.... try that, and set unique colors, and brightness on 5 devices via voice commands 🙂 Zigbee or similar, a hub, and probably open source smarthome platform.. but man.. that looks like a big learning curve and time burn. The easy-peasy way that google tried to get gear to be set up was nice. BUT.... Sorry Googs.. you seem to have given us less than stellar experiences with your smart home stuff. I'm waiting to be abandoned by the mega-corporation that doesn't love me. 😞 I has a sad.

OMG. I think it's working.. let me check.
Yep. it's working. I did nothing to address this.. and lo and behold it goes back to working.
I'd love a candid answer on why this happened. but too many people have to cover their phony baloney jobs. I bet it was something silly that was overlooked and complaints ignored at first because you know.. end users are dumb. 😉

Same. Started about 2-3 days ago... this happens WAY too often. At the current time I have 40 bulbs, 7 smart switches, and some strip lights. I have WAY too much invested in them to just swap it all out but I'm getting closer and closer every **bleep** day to doing it cause it's frustrating. Geeni is the ONLY thing in my house giving me issues. All the other smart items all work perfectly. I do not get why this issue keeps happening over and over with Geeni when my Govee, GE, Nest, Sonos, Sony, nVidia, and LG smart devices are all rock solid.
So far Geeni's answer is disconnect it all and reset it up... I did that last time and now it's happening all over again so that is obviously not the answer.

Also having this problem! So frustrating as all my lights are controlled through my google speakers. I'm so tired of troubleshooting and getting NO ANSWER!

Thanks for all the suggestions & answers. This issue just resolved itself for me this afternoon.... a d now some features look different on the app and my max display. I'm betting this was an unannounced update. Not great to break things for multiple days with no warning. I did have to manually set up some routines that just dissappeared from my lists too. VERY frustrating.
