I had been using my Goggle home for 2 years with no problems - then it was turned off at the wall - now no matter what i do such as I did the factory reset as nothing was working, and now I get this error "The operation couldn't be completed. (kGSKErrorDomain error-83905)." and can not seem to move on from this. I have down loaded the app and tried to start again - but nothing 😞

Hi AndyChevy,
Thanks for posting your concern about the issue kGSKErrorDomain error-83905 ― I’d love to help you get the resolution. Since you have already tried the factory reset and reinstalled the Home app, let’s try this instead. Before you reinstall your Nest speaker, it would help a lot if you could check the language of your phone under settings. It should be in English.
Tell me how it goes.
Best,
Dan

Thanks Dan - I make sure that it is set to english - Aussie everytime:)

Hey there,
Apologies but, it would be best to have it under US-EN for the language on your phone settings and on your Home app.
I'll be waiting for your response.
Regards,
Dan

Hi folks,
Thanks for trying the steps. Is it possible if you can check the cast firmware version of your Google Nest speakers? Also, as an additional step, you may try to unistall the update of the Google App and reinstall it back. As soon as it's done, try setting it up and see if these steps would work.
Best,
Princess

Hi AndyChevy,
I hear you and thank you for following the steps we provided. There's one more request that we need you to do. It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first starting with your router followed by your Nest speaker. Restarting your phone might also help. Also, could you please do a factory reset of your Google Home, one last time. Once done, the next steps require you to have one more mobile device since we are gonna be using that to connect to its personal hotspot. One phone is used to set up your Google Home and the other phone is where you connect to via hotspot, instead of connecting to Wi-Fi.
Keep us posted.
Best,
Dan

Hi folks,
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. To isolate further, it would help a lot if you could try the set up on an Android device. Also, could you specify on what Nest speakers you have?
Keep us posted.
Thanks,
Dan

Already re-installed the google home app twice, but no luck.

Hey Rgaravaglia,
To make sure, are you using a regular Google Account. Could you try setting up your Google Home using a different account to cover all our bases?
Keep us posted.
Thanks,
Alex

i have tried to use an android phone - but it would not connect at all to it. - do the nests need to be updated?

Hey AndyChevy,
Are you getting the same message? Resetting the device would automatically update the device once connected to a network. Can you provide us the specific model of your Nest speaker?
Best,
Alex
