Google Assistant

I recently added another smart outlet to my house when giving the command to Google Assistant to " "turn off light" GA turns off both outlets and responds "turning off two outlets" the outlets are named "Light" and "Router"

I guess my question is obvious, how do I stop Google Assistant from turning off both of my outlets?

Hi garbagpaleAdult,

Thanks for reaching out. To turn off a specific device, you can add the name of the device. Ensure your devices have different names so your Google assistant can accurately control them. See sample commands below.

Say "Ok Google" or “Hey Google," then:

To turn a light on or off - "Turn on or off <light name>"

Turn all lights in room on or off - “Turn on or off lights in <room name>"

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Juni
