My Nest doorbell is viewable on the Nest app but not on Google Home. Is there a simple fix for this? It chimes but doesn't say some is at the door or announce on my Google hub.
In order to see the 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell in the Google Home app as well as in the Google Nest app, you need to have migrated your Nest Account to a Google Account (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9297676) and to be logging onto both apps with the same Google Account.
To get "Visitor announcements" on your Google Nest Hub when the doorbell button is pressed, you need to turn on that option in the Google Nest app (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451). You have to have migrated your Nest Account to a Google Account for this to work.
