So as you may have heard the Nest-App is going away. Thanx Google. Not! Here's my problem: The Google-Home app seems to work 'ok' for turning (Cool, Eco, Heat...) and changing the temperature.... But what about something a little more in depth.
Like when I want to turn just the house furnace 'Fan' on and off? It can turn on and off, even in ECO mode. I see no option for this. I use the Nest app for this all the time.

The Google Nest app is NOT going away, though support for older Nest thermostats is being phased out (https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/Support-changes-to-our-earliest-generation-Nest-Learning...).
I can't speak to your other concerns; we have cameras and doorbells (most in the Nest app), and Nest Hubs.

I have the google-nest ver 2... I didn't realize that the Home-App will also stop working. Thanks, but no thanks google. I would like to say some bad words here, but will refrain. Does anybody know any 3rd party apps, that will possibly work. Perhaps a google community isn't the right place to ask.

Hello @robertkjr3d,
Thanks for reaching out to this forum. I understand you’re wondering why, on the Google Home app, you’re unable to turn the house furnace fan on or off and if the Nest app is on life support. No worries, it’s a pleasure to assist you.
Regarding the Nest app, we still are going to provide support for this app for many devices; however, if you have migrated your account, you'll have access to control the thermostat in both apps. While the Google Home app may not have the exact same interface as the Nest app, you can use some features available there. Keep in mind that the full functionality will be in the Nest app as the default depending on the thermostat model. Can you confirm your thermostat model? For your reference, check out this article: How to tell which Nest thermostat you have. I appreciate your collaboration @MplsCustomer for the information
If you have more questions, please feel free to write in this forum.
Regards,
Daniel

I have the same question regarding turning the fan OFF using the Ver 4 thermostat. The fan display doesn't show that function that I hade with my Nest control.
