Just got the Wyze Cam Pan v3, which is a great camera, and it does not seem to work in the Google Home app. It seems to work everywhere else, I can get all my Google Home devices to see the video feed, but it seems that the IOS app just cant do it. I can get the Wyze app to see the feed on my iPhone as well but just not on the Google Home app.
So I have looked around a couple of communities and it seems that everyone is pointing fingers back and forth. I was just looking for a solution and it seems the community agrees that the problem lies with Google and Apple. Is there any progress on this or is this something to "just live with"?

Hi @JeffersonS!
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Wyze Cam Pan v3 won't display its video feed in the Google Home app on iOS. I understand how difficult it can be when your Wyze Cam Pan v3 shows up on other Google Home devices but not your phone. I'm happy to help you!
To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:
Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.
Best regards,

Hey GeremiG, I can view the camera on my Google Nest Hub and Google Nest Hub Max. My iPhone has Google Home app version 3.36.56. I have tried reconnecting my account with Wyze a couple of times, but that did not change the outcome. Thanks!

Hi @JeffersonS!
Thanks for the additional information. Since your Wyze Cam Pan v3 is working correctly on your Google Nest Hub and Google Nest Hub Max, and you've already performed basic troubleshooting such as unlinking and linking your account with Wyze, but the camera still isn't showing up on your iPhone through the Google Home app, the issue is likely due to an interaction with your iOS device.
Your next best step would be to contact Wyze's customer support and Apple's customer support. They can help you investigate whether there's an incompatibility or a specific issue with your iPhone's operating system or settings that's interfering with the camera feed display.
If you have any other questions or need help, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Best regards,
Geremi

I had the same problem. I tried a bunch of solutions from forums, but all to no avail. While searching, I came across a mention of Anthropic customer service — I decided to find out how they approach such technical issues. The support didn’t brush me off, but helped me understand the logic of interaction between devices, even though it’s not exactly their product. Sometimes an outside perspective and competent technical support can be more useful than endless reinstallations.
