I've seen similar posts here, but no fix for this. I've had sensi thermostat for years in Google Home. Lately, it seemed to flake to offline while Alexa and the Sensi app work fine. I finally UNLINKed it to relink it. I would get no available device upon relink. It seems to be in some half linked state. I see it really doesn't unlink and cannot link. I can't find a way to clear whatever Google thinks it has.
I can set it up in a different Google account. I have completely deleted the homes that I've had in Google Home, yet the device stays as offline. Apparently, I have no control over what Google has as devices. I figured I would find something that said remove device under security or whatever, but nope. Only unlink, which does nothing.
So, i have this ghost device apparently forever and unfixable. I just love how companies think they should have complete control and then screw things up.
Anybody have a fix for this? Alexa and the thermostat app work just fine, so I'm fine not using Google Home, but really, the fix is to just throw out Google Home?

Hi Joe-Bo,
Thanks for reaching out. Check out this link and see if the Sensi thermostat is still linked. If so, you can remove it there.
Hope this helps.

Juni
