Hi, just bought the Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen and wireless Nest Doorbell. All set up as per help videos. I can see live video on the hub from the doorbell - so its connected however I'm not getting any alerts on the hub!

@Workdammit

Have you turned on the "Visitor announcements" option in Settings for your doorbell?

Thanks for this, working a treat now.

Now any idea how to adjust the volume of the notification sound (only) on the hub to catch my attention when I'm in a different room?

@Workdammit

We can increase the volume on our Nest Hubs as described in the link below, but there's no way I know of to get a higher volume just for a "visitor announcement".

Hi folks,

Thanks again for helping here, @MplsCustomer. @Workdammit, I hope you've got the answer you're looking for. About the volume of your Nest Hub 2nd Gen and Nest Doorbell notification, I'm sorry to say that there is no such option to change the volume for notification. You can change the volume of your Nest Hub itself.
