Google Nest Lock Irrelevant

Hello Homies,

Has anyone been able to integrate the original Yale Locks into Google Home?  I got a message in the home app yesterday requesting I merge the locks.  Did it, but nothing.  Assumed they finally got the update/integration figured out.  I have 4 locks that seem to be anything but smart locks.  Not only was the Nest app disabled for these locks, but it appears Google Home will not support.  I have done all the resets, nest connect,  spoke with customer service on April 2nd, 2026 from both Yale and Google all for no resolution.  If someone has bridged the gap with the locks from Nest to Home please share.  I just want these to work with the Home app, everything else has converted.  Alert, Cameras, plugs but not the locks.

Since your Nest x Yale Lock has no lights and isn’t responding to a factory reset, please try the following:

• Use a 9V battery on the external contact points (located at the bottom of the outdoor keypad) to provide temporary power. You can follow the instructions in this article: How to lock and unlock the Nest × Yale Lock if the battery is drained.
• If the lock turns on during the jump-start, please replace the internal batteries immediately with fresh, high-quality alkaline batteries.

The yale lock is garbage.  I replaced it with an Aqara smartlock.
