Trying to hook up my Nest WiFi Pro points, I’ve already set up the main router which is hooked up to my ISPs modem, when I try and add a new point by adding a device in the google home app I get this error code at the end of the process once it tries to add the point to the mesh: errors resolving googlehomefoyer-pa.googleapis.com:443:[field:hostname lookup error:address lookup failed for googlehomefoyer-pa.googleapis.com.:errorCode: -65568]

Hi @jrv1,

Thanks for posting on the community page. I understand you're having difficulties adding your Nest Wifi Pro points to your mesh system because you're getting an error code that won't allow you to finish the process. I appreciate the detailed information you shared. No worries, let's work together to figure out why you're getting that error. To help with that, I have a few questions for you:

  • What's the status light in your Nest Wifi Pro point and the main Nest Wifi Pro router? Please check out the next article to know more about the light: Wifi device light meanings: Understanding LED indicators.
  • How far is your Nest Wifi Pro point from your router?
  • How many Nest Wifi Pro did you try to connect?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Regards,
Jonathan
