So I've spent a couple of hours on Google support chat but didn't get to the bottom so trying forum!
I've got 3 Google nests. 1 in the kitchen, 1 living room, 1 bedroom. All 3 have been reset recently to see if this fixed the issue I'll describe below.
I've also got 4 Phillips hue products. All of this worked perfect in my flat. But since moving, half of them have stopped working with Google.
The lights themselves work fine in the hue app so I know their distance to the bridge is fine.
But the lights that are not on the same floor as the hue bridge don't work through Google anymore. It says Phillips hue is offline to something to that effect.
I can use the downstairs speakers to control the upstairs lights (where the bridge is) but not downstairs.
So troubleshooting wise I've reset all the speakers, reset the lights in the hue app.
My house is not large so I cannot believe that the Phillips hue and Google do not extend 1 floor up but I'm at a loss for what else to do?
Do the lights and speakers carry the bridge signal around like little booster hotspots? Should I try a bit of Tetris with the lights and see if I can get them in different places to carry the signal?
I'm so lost and frustrated 🥴

From your description it's almost like your Hue Bridge is not connected to your network and that you are controlling the lights via Bluetooth.

I would agree if it weren't for the fact I can ask Google to control the lights in some parts of my house but not all so the WiFi connection works fine in most of the house. If it was always through Bluetooth it wouldn't work at all surely

I had this issue before, at the end of the day it was the hue hub itself that was the issue. I removed it from Google home, reset it, and set it up from scratch, then reconnected to google, and all was well!
