Google home automations stopped working

google home automation issue. None of my automations work anymore since yesterday but they worked for years. For example light control based on Eve motion or KNX controlled curtains that close at certain time. On the other hand if i manually click the automation in Google it is executed and also all other manual controlls still work. It seems that the event triggers are broken somehow...

Yep, about 12 hours ago. Some scripted automations work some don't. Thread on Reddit as well, must be Google backend issues

Thanks for confirming and to know it's probably not on my end!

Yeah mines stopped about 12 hours ago. Devices keep shifting around within the Home app as well.

Hello All, I am also having this issue.  Things I have noticed:
It appears all routines/automations related to time triggers that do NOT include a Gemini request.  If my time trigger does include a Gemini request (turn on TV, launch app, restart song, etc), then the routine/automation still is functioning.  Unfortunately I haven't been able to see a response from Google yet, has anybody heard anything?

My automations with time triggers were set up 2 years ago and always worked until now. I don't use Gemini, maybe that's the problem.

Hello All, I have reported the issue to Google via the Google Nest Help, I suggest we all do the same.  I tried all the troubleshooting steps they make everybody go through (of course) and they now say they are elevating to a senior team and will respond in within 2 days.  Not a fan of that timeline at all, so I suggest we all do the same.  The squeaky wheel gets the grease

Since December my automations have not been working correctly. Some have both a start time and a starter phrase - they only work when I use the starter phrase. The only thing that works in the automation is a linked Kasa lightbulb that turns on and off at the correct times. I've had automations disabled or turned without me doing it. I hope Google gets it sorted out soon without needing me to redo my automations.

Same issue here. Some of my atomation scripts stops working  around 12/14 hours ago (2:00/3:00 AM GMT) after working for years. I hope Google can fix it soon, because my house heating depends of Google Home scripts automation

I noticed it seems to be skipping my automations with time conditions. The ones without time conditions seem to be working. Unfortunately most of my automations have time conditions.

It's been a nightmare at my end.  Over xmas i received a new 2k doorbell and a 2k outdoor wired camera.  Both exceptional pieces of junk.  The doorbell was defective, google after sticking pins in my eye finally approved rma and replaced.  Great doorbell finally hooked up.  Next the outdoor camera.  Had it working after setup but that evening it lost connection and since then hasn't worked at all.  Tried numerous factory resets tried both networks of wifi 2.4 and 5.  Still nothing.  Decided to remove the home where they were to be and start over as of today neither will connect, keeps telling my i may have wrong password.  Fianl conclusion,  google devices are pure garbage and a wise person would have probably bought a ring system.  Guess thats why most neighbors swear by ring for ease of use and setup.  Buyer beware but in my case i have a couple of defective devices.  No longer a google customer.

My automations got back to normal yesterday. Clearly some server side issue.

Just to update that everything 'magically' works again. So indeed something on the server side. Next time it's probably best to not be concerned or watse your time and just wait for a day. However, it happens a bit too much and  it should be more reliable. Therefore I'm also considering to switch completely to HA.

Can confirm up and running normally again for about 24 hours or so.
