Might be a system wide problem. Seems like lots of people reporting system not be able to do commands it did before.

I know how challenging it is when you're having issues controlling your smart devices using your Google Home/Nest device. I'd love to dig deeper into this.
A few questions:
Let's go ahead and reboot your Google Home/Nest devices and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals. These will help to refresh the connection of your device to your network.
