Google home offline

• Is the Google home service down? I haven't been able to control my lights or plugs since yesterday. I have rebooted everything.

Might be a system wide problem. Seems like lots of people  reporting system not be able to do commands it did before.

I know how challenging it is when you're having issues controlling your smart devices using your Google Home/Nest device. I'd love to dig deeper into this. 

A few questions:

• What type of Google Home/Nest device do you have?
• Are you able to control your smart devices from the native app?
• What is the brand of your smart devices?
• What app did you use to set it up?
• What command and response are you getting from the your speaker/display?

Let's go ahead and reboot your Google Home/Nest devices and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals. These will help to refresh the connection of your device to your network.
