I have added my AC to Google home. AC gets discovered and I am able to control it. Now, to decrease AC temperature. I am sending utterance as "OK google, plz decrease the AC temperature". For this I am seeing my ac temperature is getting decreased by 2. And for increase temperature, its getting increased by 1. Why so?

Hi dipty,
Thanks for reaching out here in the community! I'm sorry to hear that when you give the command "OK Google, please decrease the AC temperature," the AC doesn’t respond consistently and the temperature decreases by two, and when you ask to increase the temperature, it increases by only one. I'd be happy to help!
Just to clarify, it seems you've linked a third-party app to the Google Home app to control your AC system. Could you please confirm this? If so, could you share the name of the app and whether this happens when you try to adjust the AC manually as well?
Please feel free to share any additional details that might be helpful.
Best regards,
Jenniffer

Hi Jenniffert,
Scenario at my end-
I am giving voice command using Google assistant app installed on my iOS phone.
Basically, I have added Kelvinator AC on the VGW using Kelvinator app. The Kelvinator app supports voice assistant feature. So, I did app to app linking using Google home. That linking gets successful and Kelvinator AC also gets discovered on Google home page. I assigned the room to the Kelvinator AC on google home. Now, using Google assistant I am setting the AC temperature, works perfectly fine.
Below commands are working fine-
"OK Google, turn on AC"
"OK Google, turn off AC"
"OK Google, increase AC temperature" (its getting increased by1)
"OK Google, decrease AC temperature by 1"
Only facing issue with below command-
"OK Google, decrease AC temperature" (its getting decreased by 2 in place of 1)
Just FYI,
I did Alexa app to app linking also, there "decrease AC temperature" utterance is working fine. Means, temperature is getting decreased by 1 as expected.
Thanks,
Dipty
