As if three days ago Google home stopped allowing you to turn on a device for “x”amount of time. So for example I could say “Google turn on the living room light for 10 minutes” and Google would respond saying turning On the living room light for 10 minutes. Now if I say the same Google only says turning On the living room light. That’s it. I have a friend with Google home and the same thing is happening. Did Google take this feature away? Is there some setting to turn it back on?
Thanks for any replies to solve this mystery.

I can't believe they took away this feature. I would tell it to turn my bedroom light off for x minutes during a nap or if I hit the snooze button. One of my most used commands has been neutered. Insane.

Just tested here and it working for me. I did "turn on x light for 1 minute" and it responded "Ok I'll turn on x light for 1 minute" and it worked correctly. So either the feature is back, or it has yet to be taken away from me.
I really wish Google was better at communicating changes even if they don't give advance notice. It would help to know what is a problem to report and what should be the current expected behavior.

Just started doing this in the last few days. I use it literally everyday! When I get out of the shower, I tell it turn on the fan for 15 minutes. It dries out my bathroom and the fan doesn't run all day. So handy! Google should let me worry about my own safety. It's not like I'm setting a timer to turn on an electric chainsaw or a space heater while I'm gone, and if I did, that would be my own stupid fault, wouldn't it?

It's everything that is listed as an "outlet". My yard lights from home Depot Hampton Bay Smart lights (which is not an outlet) do this now.
