Hi Indy0987,

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I see you’re having trouble reconnecting your Google Nest Audio to your Google Home app. It sounds like the device disappeared from your account, and now—despite a factory reset—you are receiving an "Unable to communicate from your iPhone" error message during the setup process. I understand how frustrating this can be since it was working fine. I'm here to help.

To assist you better, please provide a few more details:

  • Which model of Google Nest Audio do you currently have? (Here is a helpful article to check the Google speakers and displays).
  • Where are you located?
  • Have there been any recent changes to your network?
  • How long did the device work as intended before the situation started?
  • Where's the device placed, examples: By itself, up against the wall, next to a TV or another audio speaker, or next to a microwave?
  • How far is the Nest Audio from your Wi-Fi router?
  • Are there any other networking devices on the network aside from the wireless router, such as an extender, repeater, or another access point?
  • What is the Nest Audio firmware version? (Here is a helpful article to check Google speakers and display firmware versions).

Please keep me posted on your findings.

Regards,

Byron
