Hello experts,
I'm suddenly (last 3 days) not receiving the proper response/action from Google Home when I ask:
"OK Google, turn on Livingroom Lights." (there are 5 lights) This used to work flawlessly, now, no lights turn on, instead, Google responds: "OK, turning on Stereo Power." So far, I've rebooted the Nest hub display in the living room and turned off the mics on any other device that might be listening.
It seems like Google home doesn't identify my living room lights anymore, even though I can still turn on/off the living room lights manually through the Home App on my Samsung tablet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Dano1313

Hi @Dano1313,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear your Google Nest Hub is not turning on your living room lights and is instead activating your stereo power when you ask it to. I understand how concerning it must be, especially since you've already tried rebooting your Google Display. I appreciate the detailed information shared. No worries, I'd be more than glad to assist you.
We've already fixed an issue with using voice commands to activate or control some devices in a room. If you still experience this issue, please submit feedback directly from your Google Display. Just say, "Hey Google, send feedback," and provide as much detail as possible when prompted.
@SmartHomeH-TAGS, thanks for jumping in!
Please keep me updated on how it goes.
Regards,
Jonathan
