I purchased 2 nest for my home on Amazon less than a year ago. One in unable to connect to wifi. Whilst troubleshooting I try to reset the device to factory setting which removed it from my account. I've called Google multiple times over the last 3 weeks, and they were not able to fix the connectivity issues. NOW they are saying that we did not purchase from an authorize dealer (Amazon), however the other nest I bought in my account is showing as active and under warranty. Amazon product support sends to directly to Google and I'm stuck in loop. ➰ How can Google no honor the warranty of their own products? 👿

Hi crdvhgn,
Thanks for reaching out. We hear you — we can understand why you feel that way. I'll do my best to get you off the ride and on the right path. What Google Nest speaker or display are we working with? Could you also tell us the case number that our support team provided when you contacted them?
I look forward to your response.
Regards,
Juni

I have a similar problem. My google nest has failed 3 times and I have had to do factory restets to get it to work again, but jhis time it won't respond at all. Online chat with google support team say I need to return it to the store that I bought it from. The store sys they offer a 12 month warranty and I need to get back to google for the other 2 years. Google admit it is still under warranty, but wont give me a refund - insisting I have to back to the dtore. Store syas it is google respnsibility. How do I make a claim against google?
