I’m experiencing an issue with the reported temperature units in the Google Home app. I’ve already gone into the Google Assistant app and selected “Fahrenheit” instead of “Celsius.”
The Govee app is correctly displaying temperatures in Fahrenheit, so I’m unsure how to resolve this issue.

Hi B_asuncion,
Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that your Govee Wi-Fi Hygrometer isn't reporting the temperature in the Google home app. I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
As this is a third-party device, this means that you can't change" Fahrenheit” instead of “Celsius”. Therefore, we recommend you to contact Govee Wi-Fi Hygrometer for further assistance.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reply to this post. I'll be happy to assist you further!
Best regards,
Rusell.

I don’t want to sound rude but the response you posted is very AI-generated. Also, that response does not make any sense.
The temperature does in-fact report within the Google home app. I understand the Govee is third-party; with that said it is reporting Fahrenheit within their app, but not Google home .
I have seen similar-like post from other threads though it seems they had their app reporting Fahrenheit and instead of Celsius. It seems like an update pushed and fixed the Fahrenheit to Celsius issue. Though not Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Hi B_asuncion,
Thanks for your reply. I apologize that i didn't explain it well before, but for now, Fahrenheit to Celsius is a preset for third-party devices.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reply to this post. I'll be happy to assist you further!
