Hey Role,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's see what's going on with your Google Home Mini.

A few questions: when did it start happening? Are you using a public or private network? Also, are you having problem difficulty connecting your other devices to your network?

Give these steps a try:

  • Make sure your Google Home Mini and phone are within 15 feet of your Wi-Fi router while setting up your device.
  • Reboot your Home Mini, phone and router for 2 minutes to refresh the connection.
  • Check router settings. (AP isolation must be disabled and UPnP must be enabled).
  • Since you're using an iPhone make sure Local network access for the Google Home app is turned on. Here's how: Settings > Privacy > Local Network > Google Home app.
  • Reset your Home Mini to its default settings.
  • Use a mobile hotspot to set up your devices (To isolate the issue).

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Alex
