Hey google, why does half of the home app just load blank pages

I am trying to set up y home app to work with my many home devices. I have multiple nest mini speakers (and just purchased 2 more, and a nest hub) connected to several smart devices in my home.  I have been using them for basic things like just playing music for years with no issue, but I purchased the nest Hub to see my calendar info at a bare minimum and hopefully also connect some more apps i frequently use for my business.  When Home app or Assistant app and click the tab to set the default calendar, it just loads a blank page.  Also when  I try to add google connected apps it says there aren't any to add, despite having a full list if I look up connected apps and services on the web. For the record, no I am not using an account connected to google workspace. Please help me understand this and how to fix it, as i see there are a litany of other posts on here from people with similar issues.  the functionality of the home app looks like an app that is no longer being maintained or supported. If there is no fix I will happily migrate all of my home services to apple or amazon because honestly this is ridiculous.

Hi @Joethedrummer

Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention and posting it in the community. I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing with your Nest Hub's blank screen.

Before we proceed with further troubleshooting, I'd like to confirm a few things:

  • Is your Google Home powered on?
  • Is your Google Home device successfully connected to your Wi-Fi network?
  • Are you logged into the same Google Account that you used to set up your Google Home?
  • Have you disabled "Personal results" in the Google Assistant settings within the Google Home app?

In the meantime, you may try rebooting your Nest Hub.

Please let me know how these steps go, and we'll work together to find a solution.

Regards,

Catheryn
