Home Away response time

Just a general question.

How long before the Home part of the Home/Away geolocation kicks in?  If I go out of my geolocation area, then I would expect my status to return to Home when arriving in my geolocation area and automations to start. Is there any sort of delay before Away is ready to be Home, if you get my drift? 

e.g. As soon as I leave my geolocation area and return, will automation run?  

Or as I have experienced, I have to be outside geozone an hour before I return into my geozone before Home gets recognised.

It can vary, I just have my phone as the presence sense device for Home and Away mode, from leaving the house it usually takes around 10-15 minutes on average. 

Arriving home is usually a bit quicker and within around a few minutes.

An hour seems excessive. I don't think you can adjust the radius of the geofence that's used behind the scenes, but I would check if you have multiple devices enabled for presence sensing, this can sometimes cause the opposite effect of delaying detection of home/away. E.g. my Google Home Mini can be used for presence sensing but say for example if routines trigger while I've left that use this device, it will cause away mode to be delayed as it thinks someone interacted with it.
