Household routine no motion from sensor doesn't work

The routine I've attached doesn't work. The lights just stay on forever. Another routine for turning them on when motion is detected works just fine, but turning them off when no motion is detected doesn't work.

Hi doeiqts,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. A few things: what is the make and model of your sensor? Was this working before? If so, Were there any recent changes made before the issue started?

You can delete and create the routine again and see if it will make a difference.

Keep me posted.

Thanks,

Juni

It's a Phillips Hue motion sensor. Previously, Google Home didn't support triggers from motion sensors, so it wasn't possible to have it before. I was trying to use the new household routines for the first time. I've recreated it a few times to no avail. When setting up the same thing in SmartThings everything works fine, but now that Google supports these new routines I wanted to do it all through Google. I have a corresponding routine in Google Home that turns the light on when motion is sensed that works just fine. It's only the no motion routine that doesn't work in Google Home.

Hi there,

Thanks for the response. It appears that motion sense feature is the only supported feature at the moment. For turning off the light when no motion is not detected as a starter is not yet supported. You can create a separate personal routine for that instead or turn off the light using voice command.

We're always looking for ways to improve. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how. Let us know if you have other questions and concerns otherwise, we will be locking this thread after 24 hours.

Best regards,

Juni

What do you mean it's not supported? It's literally there in Google Home as a possible option.
