How do I turn off the terrible eco-mode on a non-learning Nest thermostat? I work from home and my thermostat will automatically go into eco-mode and my house will get up to over 80 degrees. I never, ever want eco mode to turn on. All of the solutions I’ve seen involve the Nest app, but the non-learning thermostat is not compatible with the Nest app. The only controls are in Google Home.

im not 100% sure but i think if you factory reset your thermostat you should be able to choose not to use that feature. or if you use the home app you can change the scheduled temps

Thanks for the response. In the home app, I have only two scheduled temperatures, comfort (day) and sleep (night). There is no mention of eco mode. Honestly, as flakey as Google products have been recently, I’m hesitant to factory reset it unless I’m 100% sure it will work. There is zero guarantee it will reconnect and I’ll be left with a hunk of plastic and a sweltering house.

Did you ever get someone to help you? I am having the exact same problem. I work from home and it goes into eco mode. Also when I leave the house I need it cool for my 2 dogs. They aren't big enough to get picked up by the thermostat.

Nope, it’s still a mystery. Does anyone from Google/Nest monitor these boards?
