Adding family members to Nest doorbell

I'm trying to add my 14 yr old daughter to our Nest doorbell (battery).

I get all the way to "connecting" and then get a message that I need to check the doorbell is on and connected to the same network.

I've even deleted the device from Google home for my wife and I, then reinstalled again just to check it works. Is there a restriction for under 18's or am I missing something?

It's not clear what exactly you are doing, but it sounds like you may be attempting to install your battery doorbell on your daughter's Google Home app. That won't work.

The way in which you share access to Google Nest's devices is by inviting the other person to be a member of your Google Nest "home":

The other person must have a Google (gmail) Account. I don't know if there is any age limitation, but be aware that all members of a Google Nest "home" have full access and control of devices and services.
