I have nest aware subscription for several years, recently, the nest camearas are uploading constantly. I can see the actitivty in the nest wifi/device usage graphs. It acts like it is doing 24/7, I only want to have event history. Wonder if google made some changes recently? Can anyone advise how to turn 24/7 off?

When you're using the google home app for the camera, there is a setting in the videohistory for that cam to select 60 days of only events.

@Nes58, I am not seeing it in the Settings of the camera, where do you find it on your google home app?

- Go to the Google Home app
- select camera's (left top)
- select the camera by pressing on it
- select 3 dots (right top)
- select settings
- select video
- select videohistory
- select 60 days, 2nd option.

thanks for the detail instruction👍.
I have nest aware only, so I have 2 options, (1) No video history (2) 30-day event video history. The current setting is 30-day event video history.

to stop the live feeding of your camera by turning off the camera.
seriously? google. I was not watching the cameras 24/7, and I do not want 24/7 recording. I have the cameras for several years. that 24/7 recording just starting in March and April.
guess I should switch to ring camera.!!!!!

Yeah, that's bull**bleep**. I just noticed that one of my two cameras is uploading constantly. The other only when there's an event happening or someone is watching it live. It makes me wonder if someone has access to the camera somewhere.
