I just purchased a "smart" wireless ceiling fan control from Hunter. The app used to control it is Hubspace. Once paired I am able to control both light brightness and fan speed independently in the hubspace app. When I set it up within the google home app it shows up as 2 different devices which is fine however the light is able to change brightness (there is a slider for that) the fan however only has an on and off switch.
FWIW, voice commands like "set speed to low", "..med", "..high" do work but when I use %'s like "set fan speed to 50%", google changes my nest thermostat settings.
How can I manage the fan speed inside google home? It works in the hubspace app.
