I have a problem transmitting the screen from my cell phone.

Hi, for a week now when I try to stream from HOME on my mobile, the Chrome cast device recognizes it but the screen on my TV goes black, and then it disconnects. I don't know how to do it. It doesn't happen to me with streaming apps like Amazon Prime or Netflix. Only with the Home app. My phone is a Samsung J7 Android version 8.1 thanks

To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:

  • Which model of Chromecast do you have?
  • Is the Google Home app updated?
  • What is the make and model of the TV?
  • Could you describe how warm or hot the device is?
  • Is your Chromecast device plugged correctly into the TV and power source?
  • Is there any LED light on your Chromecast device? If yes, what’s the color of the LED light?
