I have trouble casting my audio to google next mini.

Lately, I've been having trouble casting audio to my Google Nest Mini. I found some articles online that mentioned needing to enable microphone permissions for Google Play Services, otherwise the connection would drop during the attempt. However, I've already enabled microphone permissions for Google Play Services, but I still can't connect properly. I've tried deleting and reinstalling Google Home, and I've also cleared the cache for Google Play Services, but I still can't connect. Are there any other methods I can try to get my audio reconnected to my Google Nest Mini?

If you're having trouble casting audio to your Google Nest Mini, ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network and restart them. Also, try updating the Google Home app and resetting the Nest Mini if the issue persists.

I've already tried the methods you suggested (reinstalling Google Home, resetting the Nest Mini), and my Nest Mini and phone are connected to the same network, but I still can't cast.

To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:

  • Are you trying to cast content from the Google Home app or from a specific app? If so, please let us know which app it is.
  • When you try to cast, can you see your Nest Mini listed in the available options?
  • Is your phone updated to the latest software version available?
