Hi, I currently have a Honeywell thermostat that i am looking to change to a nest learning. I have purchased a Nest Learning 3, and I am quite switched on, however all the help and guidance on Google's website suggests that the cabling will be labelled with letters, but unfortunatly mine is labelled with numbers (please see photo). Has anyone sucesffuly changed their Honeywell Thermostat? And if so, could you please enlighten me to which of these numbers are which letters? My boiler is not a combi, just a standard. Thanks.

Hey there - I did a Compatibility Check on your system, as well as a Google Image Search for your posted photo. I put in "1,2,3,4" as the types of labels on your thermostat.
This thread https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/swap-danfoss-timer-honeywell-thermostat-with-nest-v3.575694/ looks like your dial, but the folks in that thread believe there is more to just the dial in your existing set up, and an unusual power set up. So, just like the compatibility checker says, in your case, you'll need to get a Pro installer or it simply won't be able to replace this dial with a Nest Learning.

Hello folks,
I'm dropping by to see how I can help.
Thanks for helping here, @Fitch.
@AntlerStorm, typically, proprietary systems can only be used with thermostats produced by the same company. However, some proprietary systems might also allow the usage of cables from a normal heating system. Please contact a local expert to determine whether your proprietary system can be rewired to work with Nest Thermostat.
Feel free to let us know if you have more questions.
Regards,
Mark
