Issues adding device from HiSmart life app into Google home

I have several HiSense Air conditioners linked to the Hismart life app and when I try to add the devices to Google Home Assistant it starts linking the account showing a footer message ("HiSmart Life is linked") but it fails every single time with the footer message ("Something went wrong. Try again.").

The Login and password are correct I changed them to make sure but the link does not happen.

Can you Help?

Hi CarlosLima,

 

Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. Is this the first time you’ll link your HiSmart Life app to Google Home? Do you have home members in the Google Home app? 

 

Try these steps:

 

  • Go to Third-party apps & services from your Google Account > Remove HiSmart Life's access.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app and Google Assistant app > Log in.
  • Set Chrome as your default browser (for the meantime).
  • Link the HiSmart Life app once more.
  • If the issue persists, try using a different setup device.

Hi Alex,

 

I just tried to follow all the steps and the result is the same.

 

I am able to connect other apps but the HiSmart just does not work.

 

what can I do?

Hi everyone,

 

Since other home automation partners are working fine, I suggest contacting HiSmart Life support to check if there’s an ongoing update with their integration that may cause this behavior.

Hello,

I have the exact same problem here. When trying to connect the account says it is linked and after a while “something is wrong try again”

I did try to do the steps and the problem persists.
