I have a google home account set up with a doorbell and thermostat as well as smart plugs and a JBL speaker that connects with google. My sister is my roommate so I shared the home with her so that she can have access to the doorbell and thermostat. But a few times now she’s accessed my lamp which is connected with the plug and my speaker, out of curiosity and accidentally. But both times nearly gave me a heart attack. So I moved the devices to my own home but now my speaker doesn’t announce the doorbell. From what I see there isn’t a way to give access to select devices or limit their access in general seeing as though they all are mine. Is there anyway to do that where I’m not seeing it or any solutions?

Household members have "full access and control of devices and services":

And there is no way to limit the access? That’s unfortunate.

Yes it is unfortunate.

Hey there,
Thanks for the help, MplsCustomer.
Iam_Kayla7, as long as you add a person as a home member on your structure, they have full access and control of your devices just like what MplsCustomer mentioned. Were always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. Do you have any other questions or concerns that we can assist you with?
Best,
Alex
