Lost access to my nest account and connected devices

During a recent return flight from Florida, I set my phone to airplane mode. Upon landing, I turned off airplane mode and attempted to access my Nest camera in Florida. My Nest app would not allow me to login. I finally deleted the app and downloaded it again. Still no access to my devices in either location, FL or NJ. I attempted to install my NJ camera and I get the message that the camera is already on another account. DUH it’s on my account that I can’t access. Does Google/Nest not believe in the human touch?

This is probably not the case, but since you are getting a message that your camera is already on another account, are you absolutely sure that you are logging onto the Google Nest app with the same account (username and password) with which you were logged on before your trip?

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I would love to help however I can. Are you logged into the correct Google account that has your connected devices? I would verify and start there. Please let us know!

Best Regards,

Brad
