Lost all my actions in my Routines that are associated with home devices

I installed the update from 21/07 from the Google Home app and it messed up all my routines... All the ones that were associated with home devices were erased and I am not able to set them again. I tried to reconnect the account of the devices that are compatible with Google, restart them, reset them and the routine it's the same... So after trying all of this steps I believe there is a problem in the app because when I try to set them all again it only gaves me a blanc screen. Is there a way to set them without the app or a way around it?

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's check this out.

 

A quick question: aside from updating your Google Home app, are there any recent changes on your network or set up? 

 

Give these steps a try:

 

  • Uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app.
  • If you're using an iPhone, make sure your Google Assistant is also updated. It's best to check as well if there's an available update on your phone's settings.
  • Try rebooting your phone.
  • Check if it's also happening when you use a different mobile phone

Sorry, I have been away and was not able to test. 

I tried to do the steps above and the problem is still there. My app had a update yesterday or the day before but nothing changed. I am still not able to add actions with my home devices.

I did bought just a bit before this error occur a new nest mini for my living room. Could it have a connection?

We appreciate your efforts on trying the steps. If you have tried testing it using a different mobile device and still not working, let's perform a complete reset on your Google Nest speakers and set it up in a new home structure.

Good morning,  Yes I was able to solve it when I deleted my house and set everything up again. It took time but now works. Thank you
