I would love to hear how you've determined this.

I don't know if this is how they are managing to get to your device, but you could try looking at your wifi settings and trying to find a page/set up for how many devices you are connected, and then block any you don't recognise. No idea if this works in every country but I was advised (here in the UK) to type into the search box a long code, if you ask the technical team at your USP provider at they may be able to help with this.

Hi folks,
@thisisausername, @ABluePelicanCat, thanks for helping.
@Shereder, this channel is for troubleshooting Google Nest devices. Since this involves hacking concerns, it is best to report this with your local authority for better assistance. If you need help with your Google Home/Nest devices, please do not hesitate to reply as I'll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Regards,
Dan

I think you may mean report the hacking to the ISP or whomever could have hacked the device you run the assistant from (for me it's my phone, for some others it may be their PC or another device) as this could be where a hack may have occured.
But if you're in the UK, and you see "local authority" this reads as the local council. The local council are in charge of cleaning roads, taking away bins, running local elections....and I think if you called them to ask them to help with a hacking issue, they'd probably ask you to see your Doctor or local pharmacist! 🤣

Hey there ABluePelicanCat,
Apologies for the misunderstanding. You are right! Depending on where you are, I suggest you reach out to your ISP or a person with the knowledge that can help you identify the hacker or give you defense against hacking.
If you have other questions or concerns, you know where to find us; otherwise, I'll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Kind regards,
Dan
