I have set up a super useful automation using my mixergy water tank and my meross thermostat (electric underfloor heating). (both run off my solar PV). The automation is set so when the mixergy tank has fully heated up, the underfloor heating will switch on to make use of any excess solar. trouble is, it doesn't work! I have contacted mixergy and they said "they are not 100% sure what it is that I mean, they haven’t worked with the Google systems in depth before"!
The meross UFH works with other automations so I think I can rule that out. And I can control the mixergy tank with custom voice commands so that it seems to be configured correctly too. I have deleted the automation and set it up again but this made no difference.
My feeling is the mixergy trigger should be when the tank reaches 100% (or any percentage for that matter) the term 'full' isn't really something that's used in the mixergy app (to be fully heated depends on the set target temperature). Maybe this is why automation isn't working? What's odd is when I test the automation by clicking the 'play' symbol, it works, but when the criteria is met for it to run automatically, it fails? As Mixergy support hasn't been that helpful in troubleshooting this problem, could anyone help in diagnosing why it's not behaving as expected?
By the way, I do have the beta version of the google Home app.
