My Nest Audio keep saying there's an error.

Hi all,

I just moved to a new house with an existing Audio nest, which had no issues connecting at my previous home. After moving to my new home, I deleted all my home and devices and reconnect the nest audio, and it does connect. But right after its connected, if I prompt it using google assistant, it just keeps telling me there's an error, tried playing music, but it just wont connect to my music cast(spotify). I tried force factory reset, tried turning off my router, tried uninstalling my google home app, and also tried basically all the suggestions i can find on here, still wont work. Heck i even unplugged it, moved it to a different corner of my house, factory reset and tried again, still error. Can someone please help me. I am using an iphone, but i had no issues connecting when i first bought it.

sincerely,

Extremely frustrated user.

Was there somebody else in your family connect to the household ?

If yes, you should try to unlink ALL the 3rd parties on ALL accounts.

Yes i have already unlinked everyone.

Hi there,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you. Let’s further look into it. Is this how you did the factory reset? Are you using a private or shared WiFi connection? If private, is your router dual-band? Which band are you trying to connect to your Google Nest Audio? Do you have a different setup device you can use just for the initial setup?

Try to do a factory reset once more, and then do the setup using another device. If your router is dual-band, try to use the other band. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the input, Hollen_ar_mor.
