My govee led lights

so i got my my google display at christmas and i got my govee led lights at the same time and ever since then it has been a constant back and forth with me and lights and google when i go to link my lights google says they have connected but they don’t show in linked devices so im a bit stuck and don’t know what to do and i’ve tried deleting apps and reinstalling them and logging out and back in so if you have any suggestions please tell me what to do

I've been having the exact same issue. It's strange because the lights still appear in my Google Home app but the voice commands don't work. I've tried to remove the pairing but when I try to unlink I get the error "could not reach Govee Home. Please try again" but I'm still able to control the lights through the Govee and Google Home apps.

 

Absolutely exhausting and making me want to leave Google all together. This has been happening since 5pm here and it literally worked a minute before it didn't. I'm pretty sure the new update messed with it.

my led lights won’t even show but they work perfectly on the govee app but nothing even shows on the google or the google app it’s quite frustrating as i have been trying for months now it doesn’t bother me having to go to different apps but i would like to tell google turn lights on but it just doesn’t work i just don’t know what to do

1. Are the lights Matter compatible?

If not...

2. Is the light in a Home and Room?

Try Reconnecting Govee app to the Google Home in Settings...Works with Google.

Regarding this inconvenience, and since you've already tried unlinking and relinking the lights from the Google Home app, our best recommendation is to contact Govee support for further assistance.
