Neat hub max camera monitoring

Hopefully posting in the right spot! I cannot view any event history at all. Not in the google home or nest app. I started a free trial but not prepared to pay when I can’t view anything other than live viewing.  How do I fix this in simple instructions folks

Hi Dianelw,

 

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry that you're unable to see the event history on your Nest device. I understand how frustrating this can be. I'm here to help.

Before I begin. I need to ask a few questions for further assistance:

  1. What type of Nest device are you having issues with?
  2. When did the issue start?
  3. Are you able to check the event video history of all Nest devices?

In the mean time, ensure you can use the Nest Aware features; please check the

following:

  1. Select the camera.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Enable recording and history.
  • After it's toggled on, video recording and familiar faces detection (if available) turn on for the camera they selected. To receive all the benefits of their Nest Aware trial, with your multiple cameras, you should ensure that the video recording setting is on.
  • If you already have video recording selected for at least one of your cameras, you can check the video recording setting instead. If you turn on or off the video recording setting, it only affects the selected camera. Multiple cameras should ensure video recording is on for all cameras to maximize all the benefits of your Nest Aware trial.
