Nest Cam Battery

Please help.  I purchased a set of 2 nest cameras battery.  I set up the first one quickly and without any issues.  When i attempt to set up the 2nd one, i scan the QR code and follow the same instructions to add a device but it is not recognized or it doesn’t set up.  I tried multiple times, shut down my router and my phone.  Has anyone experienced this and were you able to fix the issue?  thank you,

I understand that you have been experiencing some issues with one of your Nest Cam (battery) devices, specifically regarding that it is not possible to set it up on the app. Thanks for letting me know that you already tried some troubleshooting steps! I appreciate it. Let me help you out with this.

Before we move forward, I need some information to provide you with the most accurate steps:

  • Are you getting any error messages?
  • What is the status of the LED light on the camera?
  • How far is the camera from the Wi-Fi network?
  • What Wi-Fi frequency band are you trying to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
