Hi rjlamping70,

Thanks for posting here in the community and I'm sorry to hear if you're having issues with the alerts of your Nest camera. No worries, we'll check our options here. To confirm, were there any changes to the Wi-Fi network? Are there other family members who can access the camera? Do they receive any notifications? Are there any Activity Zones set up for the camera?

There are a few things that can trigger unwanted alerts or false positives, here are common triggers to name a few:

  • Changes in the light level
  • Shadow moving across the frame. For example, if a cloud moves in front of the sun.
  • Trees or bushes swaying near the customer’s important areas.
  • Headlights or flashing entering the field of view.

Give these steps a try:

  • Make sure that both the do not disturb and airplane mode are not enabled on your phone.
  • Try setting up an activity zone.

Keep us posted.

Regards,

Emerson
