Hello! To all that read this, I hope you can relate to the issue I'm experiencing. The Google Home app is missing a key Trigger that features a Nest Protect. Currently the only triggers available are: Starts or stops charging. Plugged in or unplugged.
I STRONGLY feel like the trigger: Smoke Detected is ESSENTIAL for a product like this. I can't see many ways in which the current triggers can be implemented into routines. I sincerely hope this feature is implemented ASAP. If anyone relates to this issue please help by replying to this thread so it is noticed!

Thank you for your reply. I filled out the feedback form. I sure do hope this is added soon in an update! I want everything to work within Google Home. How can I stay up to date if this feature is added?
