My Google Nest Thermostat (not the Learning Thermostat) blows hot air for both Heat and Cool Setting. I have a heat pump.

You have the *OB wire attached? Pics of wiring and screenshot of wiring connectivity in the app?

So it looks like  all 6 wires should match up in the 2020 Nest Thermostat. You won't use the jumper between R and Rc as the Nest only has R.

Use needle nose pliers to ensure the wires are seated well and ensure the wire jumble isn't causing your Nest to not seat completely.

If you've done all those things, try changing the O vs B settings in the app - some heat pumps use O for heat, others use B.

Thank you for the response. Where in the Google Home App is the O versus B setting?  Thanks

Ensure that when you were setting up your Nest Thermostat, you told it that was a Heat Pump. If not, reset and start over.

Open the Home app Google Home app.
Tap your thermostat.
At the top right, tap Settings .
Select Thermostat.
Scroll until you find Heat pump. It should show which wire configuration is currently selected.
If the O option is highlighted, select B.
If the B option is highlighted, select O.
To make sure the issue is resolved, test your heating and cooling again.
