Nest camera not charging

Hi all, 

During my vacation I received Messages that the battery of my nest camera was rapidly running empty. At my return i’m trying to charge my camera without any luck. 

I have reset it and didn’t help.

anybody any tips on what is happening. As The camera is quite important for our security at home a quick response such that I can take immediate action would be appreciated.

When you plug it in to charge it, did you dismount it, and is the USB plug seated firmly in the bottom of the camera with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera? The status light should pulse white when the camera is charging and it should be solid white when your camera is fully charged.

I tried all The proposed. Unfortunatly without succes.

On other threads with the same problem, Google Nest Community Specialists are suggesting doing a factory reset of the camera, but customers are reporting that did not solve the problem.

So there is no solution?

I don't know. Our battery camera has been plugged in with the optional power cable ever since we got it in Sept. 2021 and stays "Live" and online, so I don't know what's going on when running on battery power.

Try contacting Support to see if they can either resolve it or replace your camera.

Unfortunately, Google Nest does not publish a Support phone number.

What is going on? I cannot get in contact with support. My nest is not charging. Need help.
